Theming
Control how your event microsite looks — colors, fonts, and logo — from the Website tab. Changes apply instantly to the public registration page once you save.

Every event microsite in Mercleo Events has a theme: six color slots, separate heading and body fonts, and a logo. You control all of it from the Website tab on your event page.
Where to edit the theme
Open your event and go to the Website tab. Inside, you'll find two sub-tabs:
- Design — colors and fonts
- Settings — header logo selection
Colors
The theme has six named color slots. Each has a native color picker and a hex input — enter a hex value directly or use the picker.
- Primary — main brand color, used for buttons and key actions. Default:
#232121Shadow Grey. - Secondary — supporting color. Default:
#3F3633Deep Mocha. - Accent — highlight color for interactive or standout elements. Default:
#CB4801Spicy Orange. - Background — page background. Default:
#ffffffwhite. - Text — body text color. Default:
#232121Shadow Grey. - Header — navigation bar background. Default:
#232121Shadow Grey.
When you create a new microsite, Mercleo seeds these defaults from your organization's brand colors if you've set them. Otherwise, the Mercleo defaults above apply.
Fonts
There are separate selectors for heading and body fonts. Both default to Inter. The available fonts are:
- Inter (default)
- DM Sans
- Poppins
- Playfair Display
- Lora
- Space Grotesk
- Outfit
- Sora
Fonts load from Google Fonts when attendees visit the microsite. Mixing a display font for headings (e.g., Playfair Display) with a neutral body font (e.g., Inter or DM Sans) is a common pairing.
Logos
Each event supports three logo variants — one for each surface where a logo might appear:
- Color — the default full-color version.
- White — used on dark surfaces such as a dark nav bar.
- Dark — used on light surfaces and in emails.
All three variants must be square images, maximum 800 px on either side.
Logo upload is in Setup → General → Branding, not in the Website tab. The Website tab's Settings sub-tab has a picker that selects which uploaded variant to use in the header, plus a link back to Branding.
Header logo selection
In the Website → Settings sub-tab, a three-card picker lets you choose which logo variant appears in the microsite nav bar: color, white, or dark. Click the active card again to deselect it and return to automatic selection.
When automatic is active, Mercleo Events picks the logo in this order:
- White variant (preferred for most dark nav bars)
- Color variant
- Section hero override (if set on the section)
- Organization logo
If no logos have been uploaded at all, the nav renders without a logo.
Saving changes
Theme changes do not auto-save. Use the Save Design button to apply your changes to the live microsite.
Color, font, and header logo settings are all saved together by the same button. You can adjust multiple slots and save once.
